  The most breathtaking exhibition this summer！The “Almost Lifelike | Hyper-realistic Human Body Sculpture Exhibition” is Taiwan’s first comprehensive special exhibition of hyper-realistic sculptures. Featuring works by 24 international artists and a curated selection of 31 sculptures, it presents a macro perspective on the 50-year development of hyper-realistic sculpture. The exhibition kicks off on June 29 in Hall 1 of the National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall！

Hyper-realism, inspired by photorealism, has evolved into a distinct genre. Building upon photographs, it creates realities not present in the original images, fulfilling the creators' imaginations. Through meticulous detail, it explores themes such as humanity in life and the virtual in reality, establishing a spiritual connection between the works and the audience. The exhibition is divided into five major zones, categorized by different types of sculptures and artist styles: “Human Doppelgängers,” “Monochrome Portraits,” “Fragments of the Body,” “Meticulously Detailed,” and “Distorted Realism.”

The artistsKazo Hiroalso specifically came to Taiwan to attendthe press conference. The organizersinvitedProfessor Lu Rongzhi from the Doctoral Program in Cultural and Creative Industries at Shih Chien UniversityofProfessor Lu Rongzhiand the streetA head artist, the red drifter, performing as a sculpture in the exhibition space,posing as a sculpture piece inside,hosting an activity to find the real person,where audiences gasped in amazement and repeatedly exclaimedthat the two impersonatorsplaying the roleslooked incrediblylike the sculpture works, making it hardto distinguish between real and fake.
