The Overreacting Cat, which has topped Japan’s most popular sticker charts, boasts a huge fanbase in both Japan and Taiwan. To celebrate its third anniversary, the character is holding its first large-scale overseas solo exhibition at the National Science and Technology Museum in Taiwan, which grandly opened on June 29.

Photo-worthy spots

The Overreacting Cat has made the leap from stickers to real-life experiences, featuring not only an adorable cat-themed café but also a super cute strawberry cake bed where fans can pose as part of the whimsical decor — guaranteed to become a viral photo hotspot.

In addition to the main character, Overreacting Cat, all the other characters from the sticker series also make an appearance, including Overreacting Cat’s dad, who sports cute whiskers and a passion for desserts, and the black cat Tango, whose dramatic flair melts fans’ hearts in every scene.
