Can't stay here anymore！The popular camping spot Apple House has been temporarily closed

After the redesign of the Fushoushan Farm camping area, the cute-looking Apple House cabins were introduced, drawing attention for their adorable design and sparking interest among many netizens who wanted to stay. However, it has now been reported that the Apple House is temporarily closed, with only photo opportunities available.

The original campsite, which covered about 500 pyeong and included container cabins and log cabins, was revamped due to aging facilities and to reduce environmental impact on the mountain forest. The farm redesigned the area with the new Apple House cabins, whose striking appearance and vibrant colors caught fans’ attention. However, the Apple House has recently been temporarily closed due to suspected illegal construction issues.

Relevant authorities recently conducted an inspection and determined that the Apple House facilities are movable and not fixed structures anchored to the ground, so they do not qualify as buildings and thus do not violate building regulations. However, the Apple House is integrated with washroom and toilet facilities in a non-standard camping setup. While it was deemed not illegal, no legal basis for its operation could be found. Currently, Fushoushan Farm has cordoned off the area with warning tape, not allowing visitor entry and has suspended reservations.

The Apple House’s adorable design attracted much attention, and the news of its closure has left fans disappointed. Many are hoping the farm will reopen bookings after making necessary adjustments to meet legal requirements.
