Like a Japanese seaside scene！Romantic stairway path with views of the Yin-Yang Sea

Built along the mountainside, this stairway path weaves past cottages, utility poles, and greenery—creating a scene reminiscent of Japan’s coastline. From here, you can also gaze at the unique Yin-Yang Sea, offering a full dose of romance, making it perfect for a date or a light getaway.

Located at the front of Lian Cave Elementary School in Shuidong, Northeast Coast, there is a stairway path built along the hillside that looks just like a Japanese seaside scene.

The Yin-Yang Sea, located to the north of the Shuidong settlement in Ruifang District, New Taipei, is a world-class-level seascape where the yellowish-brown seawater in the bay contrasts sharply with the deep blue of the open sea.

The ore layers of Jinguashi contain large amounts of pyrite. Coupled with the rainy climate of the Northeast Coast, the minerals are coated with iron hydroxide, turning them yellowish-brown. Later, the mineral-rich water flows into the sea, where the high concentration of iron hydroxide floats on the surface. Since the bay’s seawater doesn’t disperse easily, it eventually forms the unique landscape of the Yin-Yang Sea.
