Asia's largest cardboard maze in Taiwan – 22-meter jungle paper walls for free photos

Summer vacationers have a new destination to explore. The Paper Industry Association has built a giant cardboard maze in the Taipei Railway Station lobby, hosting the “Cardboard Battle – Jungle Maze” event. It not only creates Asia’s largest fun-filled paper maze but also offers a completely free on-site experience, so much fun!

To promote proper recycling and classification of paper products, and to re-educate the public on recyclable vs. non-recyclable paper and paper containers, the association aims to reinforce the eco-friendly action of “responsible consumption and correct sorting” through an educational and entertaining approach. They transformed the 220-ping grid hall at Taipei Railway Station into Asia’s first and the nation’s only “paper-made maze.”

The entire maze walls are constructed using a large amount of corrugated cardboard made from recycled waste paper. The total length of the wall panels is equivalent to the height of four Taipei 101 buildings, making for a spectacular sight. Hidden within the maze are five large installations, each standing up to 2 meters tall — perfect for photos and fun.

The outer wall of the maze features a 22-meter-long jungle paper wall and a paper recycling classification challenge game. The event runs from July 26 to July 29 — just four days — making it a must-visit photo spot for family outings during the holidays.
