1. Mysterious Coastline

Currently, this coastal area is a restricted zone, requiring an application to the North Region Office and guided entry. Visitors can also hike up the Shitou Mountain Trail to enjoy the magnificent seascape.

2. Teapot Mountain
Jinguashi in Ruifang, New Taipei, offers numerous scenic spots. Many choose to hike the Teapot Mountain Trail, where you can take in the views of the Yin-Yang Sea, Jilong Mountain, and the entire Jinguashi area in one go. The mountain, composed of silicified breccia sedimentary rocks, features rocky foothills and the Teapot Cave. 3. 48 Highland
Hualien’s hidden gem “48 Highland,” named for its elevation of 48 meters, is also known as Qilai Nose or Mei? Nose. Due to the tectonic collision between the Eurasian Plate and the Philippine Sea Plate, the area has undergone multiple uplifts, and seashell and coral reef fossils can be found across its various raised coastal terraces. With a 180-degree open view, you can not only take in the vast expanse of the Pacific Ocean but also overlook the crescent-shaped beauty of Qixingtan Bay.
