2018 Happy Teahouse | A Mobile Tea Ceremony at the Asia Outdoor Show

From June 28 to July 1, 2018, at the 13th Asia Outdoor Show in Nanjing, Happy Teahouse met you once again.

In 2018, Happy Teahouse collaborated with UTO, Ailuke, Hiluckey, Fire-Maple, Sunree, Kailas, Zhuoma Spring, Sunree, and Yangmutang to present an outdoor-themed “mobile tea ceremony.” In addition to extending the services of the Asia Outdoor Show—offering a place for socializing, chatting, resting, drinking tea, enjoying drinks, and sharing snacks—this teahouse also encouraged the integration of movement and tea-drinking, promoting a return to nature and showcasing the harmonious blend of activity and tranquility in China’s outdoor culture.

Stepping into the bustling Hall 6 and into Happy Teahouse,

everyone sat on the floor, enjoying a pot of fresh tea,

a few outdoor-loving friends,

gathered in small groups around the stove for an evening chat,

in a relaxed and carefree atmosphere,

as if entering another world.

The 2018 13th Happy Skiing Volunteer Group held an efficient meeting at Happy Teahouse,where they voted to approve:

1. This year’s Happy Skiing event will be held at Songhua Lake Ski Resort in Jilin

2. The dates are set for December 16–19, 2018

3. Happy Skiing will have a subtitle, with the final subtitle to be confirmed by July 30

4. This edition of Happy Skiing will recruit 80 happy team members

The “mobile tea ceremony” was a theme proposed by Tao Dawei, the designer behind this year’s “Happy Teahouse” booth design and setup. Sturdy straw mats, heavy ears of rice, handcrafted bamboo bridges… Set against the backdrop of natural outdoor landscapes, it reflects the truest desires of the heart.
