Hop on the festive floats—come celebrate at the 10×10 National Day Float Carnival!

To celebrate Double Ten National Day, in addition to various celebratory events, one of the highlights on October 10th will be the National Day float parade and exhibition. After performing in front of the Presidential Office, themed floats

The Taipei City Government has arranged a series of exciting activities, allowing both daytime and nighttime enjoyment of beautifully themed float displays and dazzling lights, with performances by the Taipei Symphony Orchestra, Taipei Chinese Orchestra, Wildfire Ensemble, and well-known singers taking turns on stage.

The 11-day “10x10 Taipei Fun – National Day Float Carnival” features many special arrangements, giving the public a unique way to celebrate National Day.

From 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM on October 10, and from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily from October 11 to 20, 23 themed floats from around Taiwan will be exhibited on the Democracy Boulevard at the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall.

In addition to the beautiful gathering of floats, there are also daily stage performances, a Bear Joy-themed zone, cultural and creative markets, food trucks, and fun challenge checkpoints.

Unlike previous years, this year’s stage performances not only feature stunning auditory experiences by the Taipei Symphony Orchestra, Taipei Chinese Orchestra, and Wildfire Ensemble, but also showcase a variety of talented singer-songwriters, parent-child dance activities, street performers, and high school music clubs performing in Mandarin, Taiwanese, indigenous languages, Hakka, and English, celebrating the Double Ten holiday with both local and international visitors.

Taipei, a city with a history of over a hundred years that embodies the essence of Taiwanese culture and human landscapes, has specially invited cultural and creative artisans and local specialty market vendors to participate. In addition to shops from the Dongmen Shopping Area and DIY craft activities, families can also create their own commemorative souvenirs together.

Beyond enjoying the floats, you can also experience Taipei’s vibrant cultural energy. To allow both children and adults to enjoy the charm of Bear Joy, a special Bear Joy-themed area has been set up along with a temporary post office. Take a photo, check in, and receive an exclusive postcard and Bear Joy postmark. The carnival features four exclusive postmark designs and two postcard styles, allowing visitors to collect and cherish these as special memories of the 108th National Day celebration.
