Technica? Supreme All-Round MAXIMA 2.0 and Ares Series
July 5–7, 2018, Shanghai New International Expo Centre. TECNICA Technica showcased its products at the 2018 ISPO SHANGHAI (Shanghai International Sporting Goods Exhibition).
Earlier in 2018, Technica launched its new Supreme All-Round series, which received widespread acclaim in Zhejiang Province. It was especially well received by runners for use on petrochemical surfaces during cross-country races and rainy marathons.
At this exhibition, Technica introduced its new Supreme All-Round MAXIMA 2.0 series. In terms of details, the shoe last of the MAXIMA 2.0 version is slightly wider than that of the classic Thunder series, further enhancing the stability of the upper. It is particularly suitable for marathon and cross-country running training and competitions, better meeting the needs of runners.
The Ares Series is a customised product launched by the Technica Group in 2017.
The design concept of the Ares Series originates from snowshoes. Technica’s snowshoes in Europe feature heat-moulding technology that makes them fit the foot shape more closely. This concept has now been applied to outdoor shoes as well.
The Ares Series uses CAS secondary moulding technology. Unlike traditionally mass-produced outdoor shoes, its main selling point is that through secondary moulding technology, the Ares low-cut series enhances the fit around the three-point-one-surface area (the sole, inner and outer heel, and inner and outer arch), while the high-cut series enhances the fit around the five-point-one-surface area (inner and outer ankles, inner and outer heels, arch, and sole). This addresses the issue of traditional and relatively specialised hiking boots requiring a long break-in period.
Heat-moulding technology can effectively replace the break-in process, creating a professionally fitting outdoor shoe for the customer’s foot shape within 30 minutes. Users hardly need to break in new shoes after purchase and can experience comfort immediately upon wearing them. This highlights both the functionality of the sole and the upper.
Currently, Technica is implementing a nationwide promotional strategy with varying discounts at different times. Consumers can stay updated by following Technica’s Tmall store or physical retail locations. For e-commerce channels, Tmall, JD.com, Amazon, and a mini-program are also in development.
In 2018, Technica will continue to expand its physical retail presence, focusing on promoting its running shoe series and personalised services featuring secondary moulding technology in outdoor stores.
During the exhibition, Technica also showcased products from its represented Italian sportswear brand mico, offering a more comprehensive product line.
