On August 13-14, the Shandong Provincial Government, in collaboration with the Headquarters of the Confucius Institutes, will hold the “Discover the Source of Chinese Wisdom – The First Global Confucius Institutes Shandong Cultural Tourism Promotion Summit” in Qufu, the hometown of Confucius.
It is reported that the summit will invite foreign deans of overseas Confucius Institutes, international travel industry professionals, key domestic travel agencies, and other guests. Experts from various fields will discuss the role of cultural tourism in the promotion of the Chinese language and help foster the emergence of a new model integrating culture and tourism.
