Recently, Thailand-based A+ Travel (hereinafter referred to as “A+ Travel”) announced that it has secured 50 million THB in funding from Thailand’s Kasetsart Group. Established in 1995, Kasetsart Group has grown over twenty years into one of Thailand’s major travel agency enterprises. According to the announcement, this round of funding will primarily be used for in-depth development of destination travel. Following this financing, A+ Travel will invest more effort, in collaboration with Kasetsart Group, to further develop personalized day tours and boutique small-group tour products, strengthen the destination service system, enhance local fragmented resources, and intensify efforts to create in-depth, distinctive experiences. The goal is to meet travelers’ personalized needs in a one-stop manner and to fully establish itself as a leading brand for independent travel in Thailand.

“A+ Travel” primarily targets various B-end clients in China such as OTAs, travel agencies, and e-commerce platforms, serving as an overseas independent travel S2B supplier. To accelerate the supply and sales efficiency of fragmented products, the platform has achieved API integration with major websites such as Fliggy, Mafengwo, and Ctrip, transforming fragmented offerings into digitized data. This supports highly granular services at minimal cost, enables real-time order processing and information synchronization, and ultimately moves toward intelligent operation.

Traditional offline channels in the tourism industry often lure tourists with low prices to encourage shopping, offering no service guarantees. Many tourism products are trapped in extreme low-price and low-quality competition, while standardized products lack deep experiences and suffer from severe SKU homogenization, leading to consumer fatigue in choosing options. “A+ Travel,” built on a foundation of rich service experience, stays close to user needs and integrates destination travel resources to create personalized travel services. Currently, the platform offers services such as airport transfers, chartered vehicles, hotels, tickets, business travel management, premium small-group tours, and private customization. Users can select travel products based on their own needs and customize their travel plans.

Currently, the company has established strategic supply chain partnerships with hundreds of online and offline travel agencies, and also maintains long-term supply relationships with major OTAs such as Ctrip and Tuniu. The company stated that it currently does not plan to open more direct retail stores, but will instead focus more energy on the B-end. Since B-end clients generally lack bargaining power with upstream suppliers and often cannot obtain quality resource support, “A+ Travel,” by completing online support for the B-end, can accurately and in real time understand the B-end’s demand for certain public services, helping them integrate procurement from upstream suppliers to secure better pricing and services.

Kasetsart Group stated that although the number of outbound tourists has reached new highs year after year, the market share of traditional tourism has shown a declining trend in recent years. Independent travel is expected to become the main mode of tourism in the future, and the industry will eventually evolve toward a C2B model. The “A+ Travel” team is able to go deep into overseas destinations, uncovering and providing high-quality local fragmented travel products. Through its internal IT systems and platform API integrations, it delivers an efficient user ordering and fulfillment experience, aligning with the development direction of independent travel in the big data era.

It is revealed that “A+ Travel” will next address current industry pain points such as “difficulty in ticket booking and inquiry” and “challenges in ticket pick-up communication.” Leveraging the investor’s abundant local resources, it will achieve platform integration with major attractions in Thailand, enabling functions such as real-time inventory updates of attractions and QR code-based ticket pick-up.
