Breaking news: The first of its kind in China — Life Online launches "Rescue Expense Reimbursement"!

On April 15, HiLiao Life Online officially launched the "Rescue Expense Reimbursement" service module. This marks another milestone in the development of the outdoor rescue system since the establishment of the Life Online Rescue System in September 2018. Although there are numerous types of insurance available in the outdoor community, coverage for actual rescue services and associated expenses has remained a gap.

With the launch of "Rescue Expense Reimbursement," HiLiao Life Online has broken the status quo where rescue-related costs in the outdoor industry were unprotected. The reimbursement rate reaches 70%, with a maximum amount of up to 30,000 yuan. In real-life rescue scenarios, this amount is sufficient to cover the majority of rescue-related expenses.

On December 22, 2016, the National Tourism Administration and the General Administration of Sport of China jointly issued the "Guidelines on Vigorously Developing Sports Tourism," deploying and accelerating the development of sports tourism. Outdoor activities have become a way of life, gradually entering ordinary households. As the outdoor activity population grows, so does the proportion of safety incidents. Each incident often entails a large-scale rescue operation, and when these accumulate, the resulting costs can become overwhelming. Last year, HiLiao Life Online had already formed an efficient operational system: emergency call — 24-hour response center — rescue coordinator — dispatch of rescue teams/helicopter response — outdoor personal accident insurance claims. After six months of implementation and testing, the system has gradually scaled up and expanded nationwide.
