(June 20193))This summer, Ocean Park Hong Kong unveils a brand-newLittle “Influencers”learning program, inviting children to engage in interactive learning as “influencers.” Guided by the park’s education ambassadors, who take on the role of “Conservation Website Editors-in-Chief,” kids and their parents will explore the wonders of nature and wildlife. The program aims to inspire boundless imagination and creativity through multimedia creation and content sharing, spreading conservation messages in a unique way and nurturing the next generation of young conservation “influencers”!
Dive into “Australian Adventure” and “Ocean Wonders” to explore animal behaviors up close
The Little “Influencers” seriesis divided into two themes—“Australian Adventure” and “Ocean Wonders.” Children and their parents can observe animal behaviors up close to gain a deeper understanding, and even use tablets for interactive learning, discovering lesser-known facts about various animals through short videos. Kids are encouraged to capture vibrant photos during their exploration, design social media posts, and share conservation messages with friends to promote care for the environment.
In the “Australian Adventure” course, children can meet a variety of precious land animals, including adorable koalas, red-necked wallabies, and kookaburras. They’ll also watch rare footage of how red-necked wallaby mothers feed their joeys. The course also explains the impact of deforestation on the planet, raising children’s awareness of conservation.
The “Ocean Wonders” course takes children on a journey into the mysterious underwater world, introducing them to the unique characteristics of marine life such as coral, tropical fish, jellyfish, and sharks. Kids can also visit behind-the-scenes areas to see support facilities and learn how aquarists care for various fish species, observing their breeding processes.
Join the “Ocean Wonders Night Camp” and spend a magical night with ocean animals
In addition to the two daytime programs, families or groups can also join the evening “Ocean Wonders Night Camp.” Spend an unforgettable night among thousands of fish in the Ocean Park Aquarium’s “Ocean Wonders” exhibit, exploring the mysterious side of the ocean after dark.
