Pathfinder Green Mountain Action — Mid-Year Awards Ceremony 2019 Successfully Held
Recently, a wave of environmental awareness has swept through Nanjing. The large-scale public welfare campaign "Pathfinder Green Mountain Action," jointly initiated by Pathfinder and the Lüye platform, was grandly held on June 29th at the Couple’s Garden in Xuanwu Lake, Nanjing.
The event kicked off on the main stage of the carnival on the large lawn of the Couple’s Garden in Xuanwu Lake, Nanjing. Its highlight was the departure of approximately 600 participants from 250 environmentally conscious family groups, embarking on a green journey. Despite the harsh weather, every environmental guardian persisted in joining the activity. They braved fierce winds and rain, endured hardships, and supported one another along the way, moving forward solelyto contribute their love to the cause of environmental protection. Against the backdrop of the lush green lawn, these 600 guardians assisted one another, forming a heartwarming and harmonious scene.
Along the way, they hiked on foot, picking up litter as they went, and finally reached the finish line where they left behind memories of environmental protection in front of the photo boards, while also restoring a clean and green environment to nature. During the event, at the on-site registration desk, the Pathfinder brand provided participants with activity kits, which included Pathfinder Green Mountain Action-themed T-shirts, eco-friendly garbage bags, trash grabbers, activity refreshments, and water, all to enhance the overall experience. Though simple in format, the event carried profound meaning. Through hands-on practice, every environmentally conscious family group gained valuable insights.
Retrieving waste and promoting waste sorting is an old tradition; advocating green civilization is a new trend. The successful execution of this event has helped more people understand the importance of environmental protection and take real actions to fulfill its meaning. As the saying goes, “Lucrative mountains and silver mines are not as good as lush mountains and clear waters.” Protecting the environment is a fundamental national policy that must be upheld in the long term. In June 2019, the event gathered in Nanjing, bringing together 250 family groups to enjoy the scenery amid laughter, protect the Earth together, and share the warmth and joy brought by the activity with every participant. At around 2:00 p.m., the "Pathfinder Green Mountain Action — Mid-Year Awards Ceremony 2019" grandly commenced, with over a hundred people witnessing the birth of five Green Mountain Ambassadors from 2018 and ten Young Environmental Guardians.
The awards ceremony specially invited Mr. Wang Lei, Secretary-General of the Jiangsu Provincial Outdoor and Mountaineering Sports Association; Mr. Wu Yang, General Manager of Parent-Child Big Alliance; Mr. Wang Ergao, General Manager of Nanjing Youyu Education Information Consulting Co., Ltd.; and Mr. Lu Zhikun, CEO of Genghai Technology, to attend. The event also featured environmental instructor Mr. Hao Jingbao, who shared knowledge and insights about environmental protection.
