NASA running shoes are landing and racing toward Mars to take on the challenge of 60 million kilometers

On July 10, the KAILAS FUGA PRO NASA edition trial run was held at Qingquan in Olympic Forest Park, where the “Run Toward Mars – Challenge 60 Million Kilometers” campaign jointly launched with Joyrun was unveiled for the first time.

The FUGA PRO is KAILAS’s renowned king of long-distance mixed-terrain racing, having accompanied countless mountain runners both domestically and internationally. The distance between Mars and Earth constantly changes as they orbit the sun. During Mars opposition, when the two planets are relatively close, Mars can be observed all night from Earth, making it the best time for landing and surface exploration. It is estimated that the next Mars opposition will occur on October 6, 2020, with the Earth-Mars distance being about 68 million kilometers.

Through this event, KAILAS hopes to spread the joy of running to everyone. At the launch event, Mars Pioneers shared their original motivations for running.

“I’ve been climbing mountains for 30 years. For the first 20-plus years, I hated running — it was incredibly boring to me,” recalled Cao Jun. “Then one year, after a skiing injury, my doctor advised me to run more. When I started, I noticed everyone else was running too.” As one of the event partners, Cao Jun, CEO of BGI Sports, not only took part himself as a Mars Pioneer to encourage others, but also provided genetic testing and sports nutrition products like TINENG Yuan for quick recovery at the event.

For runners, the love of running seems universal — and Li Xiaobai, honorary chairman of New Silk Road Fashion Group, is no exception. “In my second year of running, encouraged by a friend, I joined the Badain Jaran Desert Run. I found that even the slowest runners could finish an extreme race, perhaps just taking twice as long, but we also got more services and had more time for reflection. I’ll still be running at 100 years old. I’m really happy to be part of KAILAS’s 60-million-kilometer challenge to share this wonderful activity with everyone.”

At the trial run event, Mars Pioneers and journalists wore the FUGA PRO NASA special edition for a 5KM test run in Olympic Forest Park, kicking off the FUGA PRO – Run Toward Mars – Challenge 60 Million Kilometers campaign. You Peiquan, a Mars Pioneer wearing the eye-catching KAILAS NASA white shoes, was quickly caught by our reporter for a brief interview right after crossing the finish line.

 

You Peiquan spoke highly of the FUGA PRO NASA special edition. This edition features a rare white color in the outdoor world, adding style points. On the track, its performance is unquestionable.
