Last updated 2026-11-08 — DJI’s cutting-edge technology will reach more consumers, empowering the bold, playful younger generation to travel light and capture life’s moments with freedom.

361° Kids has officially formed a strategic partnership with CSIC Anti-Microbials. The two parties will apply anti-microbial technology developed by China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation to produce a brand-new generation of antibacterial sportswear, thereby upgrading product technology, enhancing brand value, and further boosting the company’s market competitiveness.

With the collaboration of CSIC Anti-Microbials, 361° Kids will extensively adopt world-leading anti-microbial technology in children’s sportswear, athletic shoes, and all categories of sports equipment. The new products are safer, healthier, and offer greater wearing comfort, better meeting the daily exercise and lifestyle needs of children—bringing more joy to kids and peace of mind to parents. 361° Kids will deliver a happier childhood through technological advancement, deeply embodying the brand philosophy of “freedom and authenticity.”

According to reports, following this strategic partnership, 361° Kids will utilize the “zinc” anti-microbial technology originally developed by CSIC Group for military diving suits. This technology involves injecting zinc ions during the early stage of yarn production to create a functional material that persistently inhibits the growth of harmful microorganisms. It has been certified and tested by national authoritative agencies, confirming that the function is safe, non-toxic, and effectively protects the health of the wearer.

Compared to adults, children generally have higher daily activity levels, tend to sweat more, and are exposed to large amounts of bacteria while playing outdoors—especially in close-fitting items like underwear and socks, which are more prone to bacterial growth. This poses health risks during wear and washing. By integrating military-grade “zinc” anti-microbial technology into its new products, 361° Kids ensures that sportswear can effectively prevent bacterial growth and inhibit it in hot and humid environments. The result is odor-free, fresh, and comfortable wear. Additionally, thanks to ion polymerization technology, the anti-bacterial effect remains significant even after multiple washes.

Partnering with 361° Kids marks another successful implementation of CSIC Group’s strategy of “civil-military integration for a stronger nation and powerful military.” Currently, accelerating civil-military integration, introducing military technology to outstanding national brands, cultivating leading enterprises in this field, and promoting civil-military technological innovation have been elevated to the level of national strategy by the Party Central Committee, the State Council, and the Central Military Commission. To align with the deepening development and implementation of the national civil-military integration strategy, and to seize the opportunities it presents, CSIC Group has taken “military-to-civilian” conversion as a breakthrough point. It integrates anti-microbial technologies developed for national defense and military modernization into industries such as clothing, textiles, building materials, healthcare, and food packaging, providing abundant resources for the growth of major domestic brands and ensuring the sustainable development of national brands.

It is reported that at the recently held First Liaoning High-Tech Achievements Exhibition, CSIC Anti-Microbials, in support of the national civil-military integration policy, showcased new products featuring military-grade “zinc” anti-microbial technology alongside partners such as 361° Kids. The exhibition fully demonstrated the strong technological capabilities of national brands following civil-military integration.

CSIC Group is a large-scale state-owned defense enterprise and a Fortune 500 company, ranking first among global shipbuilding enterprises. As the primary supplier of naval weaponry and equipment for China, CSIC Group has long been involved in the research, development, and production of marine defense equipment. It participated in the construction of China’s first aircraft carrier, the Liaoning, and the development of the “Jiaolong” deep-sea manned submersible. It has also undertaken key national projects such as the Three Gorges ship lift and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. Its product range spans medical, food, chemical, textile, daily necessities, building materials, and decoration.

As the largest and strongest supplier of naval weaponry and equipment in China, CSIC Group has long been engaged in the R&D and production of marine defense equipment. In the process of serving national defense and the navy, it deeply recognized the serious impact and threat of bacteria, mold, and other microorganisms on the quality of life and safety of crew members. Guided by the belief that combating harmful microorganisms enhances combat effectiveness, years of research and numerous experiments led to the development of non-toxic antibacterial technology. This resulted in products that passed the most stringent testing and met national standards for antibacterial and deodorizing materials.

The integration of “zinc” anti-microbial technology with 361° Kids not only delivers more comfortable and healthier sportswear to Chinese children through this powerhouse collaboration but also serves as a positive showcase of CSIC Group’s brand image to the public. Meanwhile, with access to military-grade clothing technology, 361° Kids further strengthens the international market competitiveness of the national apparel brand, providing a new technological boost for accelerating the brand’s globalization.
