The Dagou Creek Ecological Flood Control Park features vibrant flower fields scattered across green lawns, creating a particularly refreshing and beautiful landscape. Consider planning a short trip here during holidays or Lunar New Year, and enjoy a family outing with flower viewing and light hiking.
The Taipei Water Department has planted floral displays throughout the Dagou Creek Ecological Flood Control Park. From a higher vantage point, you can take in the breathtaking curves of the colorful blossoms. Nearly 50,000 pots of seasonal flowers such as Begonia semperflorens, snapdragons, scarlet sage, and purple salvia—popular autumn and winter blooms—have been used. Their vivid hues bring life to the serene park.
Take a stroll along the walking paths to admire the vibrant array of flowers. The flower fields span 1,388 square meters (approximately 420 pyeong) and can be enjoyed from now until mid-February after the Lunar New Year.
The location is also very convenient. Take the metro to Dahu Park Station, then walk 15 minutes to reach the park. As you arrive, a vast expanse of lush green lawns comes into view, complemented by the layered peaks of Carp Mountain, offering a picturesque scene without the need for a long journey. You can enjoy beautiful mountain and water views right in the city. However, parking around the park is limited, so it’s best to use public transportation.
