Taiwan’s famous xiaolongbao chain “Din Tai Fung” is a must-try restaurant for many international tourists visiting Taiwan. Recently, Din Tai Fung leased a 400-ping large standalone street-front property directly opposite its Xinyi flagship store, creating the largest Din Tai Fung flagship store in Taiwan.

In recent years, many F&B businesses have closed due to lease expirations, but Din Tai Fung remains unaffected, with diners continuing to flock in. To accommodate the crowds from its Xinyi flagship store in the Yongkang commercial district and enhance service quality, Din Tai Fung has leased a massive 400-ping standalone property diagonally across from its Xinyi flagship store to open Xinyi Branch 2.
The new store spans an expansive 400 pings, making it Din Tai Fung’s largest flagship store in Taiwan.
Xinyi Branch 2 is currently under intense renovation. The independent flagship store, occupying four floors across 400 pings, is set to feature 320 seats, providing diners with a more comfortable and safer dining environment. In the future, the store will also offer card payment services for greater convenience for loyal fans.
The new store is expected to offer card payment services, making dining and payments more convenient for guests.
In addition to Xinyi Branch 2, Din Tai Fung will also open a two-story in-mall store within Far Eastern Department Store A13 in Taipei’s Xinyi Planning District. Din Tai Fung currently has ten branches in Taiwan and plans to continue expanding.
