Located in the Shuangchun Coastal Recreation Area in Tainan’s Beimen District, this spot features abundant natural ecology and sweeping ocean views. The “Forest of Forgetfulness,” made up of dead trees and mangroves, is especially beloved by travelers.

Nestled between the Bazhang River and the Jishui River, it lies to the north of Tainan’s coastline. The park’s wooden walkways are lined with mangroves such as Rhizophora stylosa, Kandelia obovata, Lumnitzera racemosa, and Sonneratia alba, offering rich natural wetland landscapes and ecology.

One of the most enchanting sights along the trail is the Beimen version of the Forest of Forgetfulness. The interplay of light between fallen trees, their reflections, and the water’s surface creates a scene that often attracts couples to take wedding photos here, creating romantic memories for a lifetime.
