Following the craze caused by McDonald's My Melody storage baskets in Japan and Taiwan, the 45th-anniversary Hello Kitty in 2019 also has a McDonald's storage basket release, sparking fan collections.

The Hello Kitty storage basket was launched in Singapore, hitting stores on November 14. Each is priced at SGD 7.9 (approximately TWD 180), and requires the purchase of a value meal with an additional upsell. Each person can buy up to two per value meal.
The advertisement for this McDonald's storage basket features Hello Kitty herself, presenting the cute design and functionality of the basket in a news flash format, resembling a Japanese commercial. In reality, however, it is being sold in Singapore—the first location to offer the McDonald's Hello Kitty storage box. This also raises curiosity about whether Taiwan will also have it for sale.
This storage box also comes with a strap, allowing it to be used as a car hanging storage box. It can hold a drink and a pack of fries, scoring high on both practicality and style, making it a favorite and prompting fans to rush to buy it.
