June 7–8, 2012, the annual college entrance exams are approaching. For students in Beijing, this is an important day of assessment after years of hard study. Recently, the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League launched the “Smooth Traffic Plan for the Exam Days,” mobilizing young people and citizens to help create a city environment that ensures “smooth travel,” “a relaxed mood,” and “quiet exam venues,” helping all students across the city take the exam smoothly and happily and achieve their ideal results.
Here, we actively encourage everyone to drive less during the exam period, and instead opt for walking, cycling, or taking public transportation to and from work. Through your green actions, please make way for our students taking the college entrance exams, ensuring they can get to the test sites smoothly and strive for their best possible results.
