Since May, registration for the Northeast division has been booming, with the number of applicants reaching hundreds so far, making the competition among participants extremely fierce. It is understood that the event is divided into five stages: preliminary selection, advancement, offline activities, sharing and exchange, and finals. Participants only need to register online on the official event website of "Leaves Accompany Me" · 2012 Lafuma Mountaineering Season, fill in basic information such as personal profiles and competition declarations to enrich their personal pages, and upload personal portraits and outdoor photos, share outdoor experiences, travel guides, event videos, etc., to take part in the Northeast division activities. Subsequently, the organizing committee will select 50 qualified participants to advance and join a two-day free offline event in the Northeast division, where they will hike through classic Changbai Mountain routes and embark on a journey to find the "Leaves of the Alpine Garden."
According to the organizers, the offline mountaineering activity of the Northeast division will grandly commence on July 14–15 at the Changbai Mountain Scenic Area in Jilin. Over the two-day event, all advancing participants will hike the classic Changbai Mountain route — from the West Scenic Area to the Songjianghe Rafting — immersing themselves in the stunning sights of the West Scenic Area’s birch forests, Heaven Lake of Changbai Mountain, Ladder River, Changbai Mountain Grand Canyon, Alpine Garden, and Songjianghe Rafting, enjoying the full beauty of Changbai Mountain within two days. Along the way, they can touch the colorful splendor of the sky garden, witness the majestic beauty of Heaven Lake, and take in the grandeur of the Great Canyon — truly a trip worth taking.
It is worth mentioning that the event will also feature exciting segments such as a mid-weight mountain hiking race, fun rafting adventures, and a large-scale outdoor evening party — thrilling, novel, and immensely enjoyable. Additionally, a wildlife conservation public welfare activity — the Life Care Action — will be carried out along the way, advocating for the protection of wild animals and the ecological environment. These diverse activities add a lot of fun to the entire event. Participants can not only enjoy the beautiful scenery of Changbai Mountain but also meet more outdoor enthusiasts, experience human warmth during the event, and understand the true essence of mountaineering.

After the mountaineering activity, all participants of the offline event can share their experiences on the event website’s [Personal Participant Page], continuing to upload photos, travel guides, personal reflections, event videos, etc., and interact with other participants or netizens. In addition, all participants will have the opportunity to engage closely with the expert judges specially invited for the competition, communicate online, and call on netizens to vote for them to boost their popularity. Finally, the organizing committee will comprehensively select various awards and the division champion of the Northeast division based on the number of netizen votes and the scores given by expert judges, presenting numerous top-tier Lafuma outdoor gears. The division champion can also travel to Anneyron (Aneyron), the hometown of Lafuma in France, and visit the alpine resort town of Chamonix (Chamonix), known as the holy land of the outdoors, to enjoy a seven-day "Home of Leaves" romantic outdoor journey in France.
