1,2012.04.21, Hiking across Dongping Mountain within Xiamen Island (reverse route from Dongfangshan Liuliu Valley to Gundan Valley), this is a dense forest trek with paths through jungles, rock caves, and thorny thickets.
, The day’s weather was overcast turning to partly cloudy, with sunshine in the afternoon and relatively high temperatures. I wore a quick-dryT, T-shirt underneath and the, BLACK YAK three-layer Gore-Tex® fabric, jacket on top.
, There was no wind or rain during this trek, and the weather was rather stuffy, so the product’s windproof and waterproof capabilities could not be fully tested, but its breathability and abrasion resistance were thoroughly evaluated.
, Despite the stuffy weather, moving through jungles and climbing in rock caves caused considerable sweating. The fabric directly...Three-layer Gore-Tex® fabricThe micropores quickly wick away moisture, ensuring the body stays dry without any damp or stuffy feeling — it feels really great. At the same time, during the trek, the jacket occasionally brushed against stone caves, rock walls, jungles, and thorns. I was a bit worried at first, but seeing that the jacket remained intact throughout gave me full confidence in its solid durability and ability to withstand high-frequency friction.

Over the three days, the weather was mainly rainy, with strong winds and relatively low temperatures. For the trip, I wore quick-dry innerwear andBLACK YAK three-layer Gore-Tex® fabricjacket on the outside.
This camping and trekking trip had highly changeable weather — over the three days, we experienced multiple thunderstorms, strong winds, and sunny conditions, which thoroughly tested the product’s windproof, waterproof, and breathable features. However, since the islands are developed scenic areas, although there were many jungles, the trails were in good condition, so the product’s abrasion resistance couldn’t be fully tested.
This activity involved a three-day crossing between two different islands in Ningde and Xiapu, with tight schedules, long distances, and highly variable weather — sometimes sunny, sometimes rainy, with temperatures fluctuating significantly. Butthe three-layer Gore-Tex® fabricjacket’s excellent breathability and windproof, rainproof features provided me with all-around protection over the three days, leaving me neither cold nor hot. Also, as per my usual habit, for a three-day trip with changeable weather, I would have needed to pack multiple sets of clothing for changing. Over the three days, the weather was mainly heavy rain and showers, with high altitude, strong winds, and relatively low temperatures. For the trip, I wore quick-dry innerwear andBLACK YAK three-layer Gore-Tex® fabricjacket on the outside.
This camping and trekking trip had highly changeable weather — over the three days, we experienced multiple thunderstorms, showers, strong winds, and cloudy conditions, which thoroughly tested the product’s windproof, waterproof, breathable, and abrasion-resistant features.
This activity involved a three-day crossing through the three major scenic areas of Wugong Mountain (Wugong Mountain, Yangshimu, and Mingyue Mountain), with tight schedules, long distances, and highly variable weather — strong winds combined with heavy rain, and low temperatures on the mountain. Many teammates were exhausted from the cold and prolonged hiking. Due to the rain, we basically had to wear rain gear for extended periods, and the loaded hiking up and down several slopes made everyone sweat a lot. Butthe three-layer Gore-Tex® fabricjacket’s excellent breathability and windproof, waterproof features gave me the most considerate protection over the three days — not a single gust of wind could “break through” this defense, and not a drop of water could seep in (GTX) through the fabric, so I never felt cold or stuffy over the three days. Likewise, for this trip, I only brought thisBLACK YAK three-layer Gore-Tex® fabricjacket as my main outer layer along with a few quick-dry functional garments, saving a lot of backpack space and weight. I was even able to carry extra shared gear and supplies, which really moved my teammates.

2The detailed design is also quite well thought-out, with many user-friendly features that are genuinely practical. It performs excellently, is lightweight and comfortable, and has a sleek, simple design—though the color is not very eye-catching. The oversized storage pockets on both sides of the windbreaker are truly the most practical design example, making it incredibly convenient to store gloves, hats, and more.
3、The use ofthree-layer Gore-Tex® fabric effectively reduces the overall weight of the gear. Due to the fabric’s excellent temperature regulation properties, the underarm ventilation zippers are designed to be refined and compact.
