Founded in 1975, VauDe is situated by Lake Constance in the charming village of Untereisenbach. Here, you can take in the breathtaking scenery of the Swiss, Austrian, and German Alps. From the very beginning, VauDe chose to build its operations in a location perfectly suited for outdoor activities, after a thorough assessment of the surrounding environment, dedicating itself to serving mountaineers and nature enthusiasts seeking leisure and connection with the outdoors.
In 1995, VauDe introduced an eco-label and began the first business of recycling functional clothing into raw materials. It was also the first sports product manufacturer to produce garments that met the Bluesign® standard—the strictest standard for minimizing harmful substances in textiles. Starting in 2002, VauDe became the official partner of the German Alpine Club (DAV), the world’s largest mountaineering association with over 650,000 members.
