Daniel’s Italian Restaurant at The Westin Taipei’s The Regent Taipei is a favorite among many food connoisseurs. Combining ingredients from Northern, Central, and Southern Italy, the restaurant offers a diverse selection of Italian delicacies. To provide lovers of Italian cuisine with an exceptional experience, on September 17th (Friday) evening, the restaurant will launch the “Vino Vino!” Italian Castello di Gabbiano Winery Wine Tasting Dinner. In collaboration with the Castello di Gabbiano Winery Group of Italy, the event aims to create a wonderful moment of flavor and delight.
Daniel’s Italian Restaurant highlights the experience of “tasting Italy in Taipei.” The head chef is an Italian with over 20 years of experience. The restaurant design is inspired by the concept of ‘illusion,’ using light, space, and color effects to create a space imbued with this meaning. It employs bold, vibrant colors and materials to express the fashion concept of Italy.

Chef Kang Jienan noted that wine comes in a wide range of flavors—sweet, sour, bitter, rich, and light—and is more versatile than any other type of alcohol when paired with food. The chef has specially selected five premium red and white wines from three renowned wineries, crafting Italian dishes that allow the wines and dishes to achieve the most subtle harmony. These unforgettable culinary creations will be served at the upcoming dinner, which includes Italian marinated tuna, creamy chickpea soup with stir-fried squid and clams, handmade potato gnocchi with spicy wild boar, puff pastry stewed oxtail with mushrooms and roasted potatoes, and a chef’s cheese platter. The price is NT$3,200+10% per person, and reservations are required.
