The "Health 100: Nationwide Climb of Minor Peaks" event, jointly organized by five national mountaineering associations and over 200 mountaineering clubs across the country, will take place on October 2nd this year. Participants will attempt to set a Guinness World Record for "the most people simultaneously climbing multiple mountains in various mountain ranges across Taiwan," aiming to boost the island’s reputation in mountaineering.

Oudana, a domestic sports and leisure brand, has not only organized climbs to the highest peaks on all seven continents, but also specially launched a Minor Peaks climbing campaign this year to celebrate the centennial of the Republic. Leveraging years of experience and resources in mountaineering and outdoor recreation, the company is taking on the Guinness World Record challenge.

The existing record being challenged was set on September 10th, 2000, by the United Kingdom and Ireland. The original record required participants to climb at elevations of at least 1,000 feet (305 meters), start at the same time, and have all climbers pre-registered and checked in on the day of the event.

The organizing committee selected three main mountains that broke Guinness World Records as featured routes: Nangang Mountain in Taipei City, Taoyuan Forest Trail in Changhua County, and Shoushan in Kaohsiung City. Additionally, there are ten challenging routes: Qixing Mountain, Dajian Mountain, Tianshan Mountain, and Guanyin Mountain in Taipei; Touyue Mountain in Taichung; Hengshan Mountain in Changhua; Jiji Dashan Mountain in Nantou; Zhuotou Mountain in Tainan; and Shizi Mountain in Pingtung.
