To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Republic of China, Chang Hwa Bank organized a nationwide “Peak Taiwan Chang Hwa High” Little Hundred Peaks hiking event. The first stop was successfully held at Toukeshan in Taichung, and on the 26th, led by Chairman Chen Huai-chou, Permanent Supervisor Kao Chih-shang, and General Manager Lin Wei-liang, thousands of enthusiastic participants gathered at Shoushan in Kaohsiung for the second stop.
Through a series of three hiking events, Chang Hwa Bank aims to raise awareness among the public about the importance of protecting mountain forests and to join together in the vital mission of preserving these natural spaces. The event also featured five pairs of twins as “Smile Ambassadors.” Under the leadership of Chairman Chen Huai-chou, Permanent Supervisor Kao Chih-shang, and General Manager Lin Wei-liang, they planted saplings symbolizing “smiles, happiness, and peace,” hoping that everyone would enjoy double the smiles, happiness, and peace.
Chairman Chen Huai-chou stated that Chang Hwa Bank has always actively cooperated with national financial policies and, upholding the spirit of “solid management and serving the public,” provides comprehensive financial services to the community. In line with the government’s push for public-sector enterprises to engage in meaningful public welfare activities, this year the bank invited the public to step outdoors and experience the beauty of the mountains. It also called on everyone to cherish and protect these natural areas. To show the bank’s care and thoughtfulness, the “Peak Taiwan Chang Hwa High” Little Hundred Peaks hiking event is completely free, and offers limited-edition breathable hats and waterproof backpacks as souvenirs, along with a variety of lucky draw prizes, ensuring all participants go home with great memories.
