New Taipei: To celebrate its centennial anniversary and coincide with the Tung Blossom Festival, Tucheng Elementary School held a hiking event yesterday to share the joy of its 100-year milestone. Nearly a thousand alumni, community members, parents, and students set off from the school campus, walking along the Shibi Liao Stream Trail, passing Nantianmu Square, and arriving at the Tung Blossom Park. Tucheng District Mayor Chiu Wu-tsuan also cheered on the families participating in the event.
