Nantou: A hiker surnamed Chen from Taipei City was climbing the southern section of the Central Mountain Range when he suffered from altitude sickness and twisted his ankle near Zhushan, leaving him unable to walk. The Nantou County Fire Bureau informed the National Fire Agency, and on the 19th, he was rescued by helicopter hoist and transported to Tainan Municipal Hospital for treatment.
