The 2013 China Dehong Cycling and Outdoor Cross-Country Challenge kicked off on the 29th in Mangshi, Dehong Prefecture, Yunnan—a place of stunning natural beauty. The event attracted nearly 500 athletes from both domestic and international teams, with a total of 35 participating squads. Among them, the Kolumb (Gelunbu) Outdoor Team defended its title with a 3-minute lead.

This outdoor competition began with an 18-kilometer cross-country run, followed by a 20-kilometer cycling segment that looped around the Peacock Lake twice. After the cycling, there was a 10-kilometer kayaking leg, and finally, a 5-kilometer stretcher-carrying outdoor challenge. In the final event, each team crafted uniquely designed stretchers, and their carrying techniques varied widely. The time difference between the first and last finishing teams was nearly 30 minutes.

Congratulations to the Kolumb (Gelunbu) Outdoor Team !
