Yet, many tourists still hiked the Erziping Trail in Tamsui District on the 6th. A visitor spotted a middle-aged woman lying on her back on an industrial road, showing no signs of life. Police preliminarily determined that the woman was likely a hiker who may have succumbed to hypothermia or suffered a sudden health emergency, but the exact cause of death and her identity remain under investigation.
