15 people from New Taipei went missing in the Xindian mountain area yesterday and remain unaccounted for to this day. Longzhong Network Company held an employee outing yesterday, during which 15 individuals hiked at Jiujiaoliao Mountain in Xindian District, New Taipei City. They were scheduled to descend by evening, but have not been seen since. Their families have been unable to reach them and reported the case to the police for help around 11 p.m. yesterday. The New Taipei City Fire Department has mobilized over 20 personnel to conduct a search and rescue operation on the mountain.
