Japanese variety shows often host cooking competitions for kids, and now Taiwan also offers special dessert-making classes just for children.
Maybe your little one could be the next Chef Ah-Chi too!
The Chill Lounge on the first floor of the Holiday Inn Resort Kaohsiung will hold “My Little Genius Chef” dessert-making courses on Sunday afternoons from 2:30–4:30 pm on April 24th, May 15th, and May 29th. Through fun and interactive lessons led by foreign chefs, kids will make delicious sweet treats together, while also improving their English skills. Parents can enjoy a light afternoon tea of desserts and drinks while accompanying their children in class.
The “Little Genius Chef” course costs NT$1,200, which includes two servings of self-service afternoon tea, an apron, and a chef’s hat for the child.
The first class coincides with Easter, featuring DIY egg painting and bunny chocolate making. A giant Easter egg over 2 meters tall will also be set up outside the hotel — the largest in Kaohsiung — adding to the festive atmosphere. For registration and inquiries, please call 07-6568177 ext. 21250.
