The Gongliao Ocean Music Festival kicks off on July 24 – enjoy rock music and take a mini-trip

This year, the New Taipei City Government, in collaboration with the Northeast and Yilan Coast National Scenic Area Administration and other organizations, has jointly developed a new tourism plan. The package includes visiting the Fulong International Sand Sculpture Art Festival to admire sand sculptures, attending the Ocean Music Festival, and participating in mini-travel packages.

The New Taipei City Government stated that this year’s Gongliao International Ocean Music Festival is themed “Sea Festival THE ONE,” emphasizing the event’s core spirit of uniting Taiwan’s independent music creation. The festival dates and themes are as follows: July 24 – “Taiwan Rock Formula,” July 25 – “Ocean Independent Music Awards,” and July 26 – “World Rock Revelation.” Over 30 performance groups will take the stage across the three-day event.

The New Taipei City Government also announced that the New Taipei Gongliao Sea Mini-Trip and Mountain Mini-Trip one-day tour packages include marine and agricultural-fishing ecological experiences in the Gongliao area, transportation, and local cuisine. The packages are priced at a special rate of NT$550 and NT$1,300 respectively, go on sale at 2:00 PM on June 2, and are limited to 5,000 spots. Visitors can use these packages to explore a different side of Gongliao.
