After a two-year hiatus, the Taiwan Culinary Exhibition returns on July 17

After a two-year break, the 2015 Taiwan Culinary Exhibition (Taiwan Culinary Exhibition) will be held from July 17 to 20 at the Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1, returning in an expanded format. Entering its 24th edition, this year’s event is themed “A Delicious Era in Taiwan.” The organizers have planned five major exhibition zones: “Art of Food, Utensils of Food, Ingredients of Food, Journeys of Food, and Food Souvenirs.” Tickets for the food exhibition are now available for pre-order at a 10% discount at all four major convenience store chains: 7-11, FamilyMart, Hi-Life, and OK Mart.

The organizer, the Taiwan Visitors Association, has partnered with the well-known domestic food and lifestyle platform iPeen (iPeen.com.tw) to collaborate with major online community platforms in Taiwan to jointly launch the first-ever Citizen Journalist Selection event for the food exhibition. Starting today, a joint selection will be conducted across major blog sites, including iPeen.com.tw, yam天空部落, Pixnet痞客邦, sina新浪部落, PChome个人新闻台, and Xuite部落格. Each platform will select 2 to 4 citizen journalists. In addition, the organizer will recommend 3 to 5 seasoned food experts, with a total of 15 to 20 food exhibition citizen journalists expected to be selected.
