To compete for business at 30,000 feet, airlines are pulling out all the stops to roll out eye-catching livery planes, painting everything from symbols of national identity and cartoon characters to unique flora and fauna on their fuselages.

However,according to the UK's Daily Mail,a recent "Tigers in Flight" program by Russia’s Transaero Airlines was not primarily driven by commercial goals but by ecological conservation — aiming to raise public awareness about the world’s endangered Amur tigers. The image of a tiger was painted on the nose of a Boeing 747, reflecting the Russian government’s focus on this issue.

The aircraft was unveiled at Moscow’s Vnukovo Airport as a collaboration between the Almaz-Antey Amur Tiger Conservation Centre and Transaero Airlines, aiming to draw international attention to the ecological issue of Amur tiger poaching. “We see this partnership with the conservation center as part of our long-standing corporate social responsibility policy,” said Olga Pleshakova, official representative of Transaero Airlines. “Wildlife conservation should not be overlooked. Only by demonstrating a sense of responsibility for the future can humanity ensure harmonious development for generations to come on this planet.”
