1. Disrespecting Local Cultural Norms and Dress Codes
Back home, no one cares how you dress—but now you’re in someone else’s backyard, and it’s something to seriously consider. At religious and worship sites, visitors must dress modestly—no tank tops, shorts, or exposed shoulders and knees.

2. Taking Photos Where Photography Is Not Allowed
Certain statues, paintings, and monuments are sacred, and photography is not permitted. Please respect that.

3. Expecting Everyone to Speak English While Refusing to Learn Even a Word of the Local Language
Learning a few phrases in the local language can go a long way. You might be pleasantly surprised by how warmly locals respond.
