The sun is hot and it’s Father’s Day, so refreshing Japanese food is the best thing to do. There are two major schools of Japanese cuisine in Taiwan. One emphasizes the original flavor and all ingredients are imported. The other emphasizes Japanese cuisine that exaggerates Taiwanese customs and is full of Taiwanese flavor. "Breeze Jianyi Canteen" opened in the alley of Bade Road in Taipei City is such a small shop that can be regarded as Japanese cuisine but full of Taiwanese flavor.

The owners of "Breeze Jianyi Canteen" are Liu Jiancheng and Hu Yifan, a pair of good brothers who have been together since kindergarten. After graduating from Kaiping Catering, the two brothers have worked hard in the catering industry for many years. Four years ago, the two brothers, who are familiar with both inside and outside the restaurant, took their own needs as the starting point and wanted to open a restaurant where customers can relax, eat well and be full without spending too much money.
