Kaohsiung’s Big “Ice Review” Votes on Top 10 Ice Desserts

Summer just isn’t complete without a cool bowl of ice to beat the heat. What’s your favorite kind of ice dessert? On the 20th, the Kaohsiung City Government Tourism Bureau heldthe Kaohsiung Big Ice Review voting event,inviting food bloggers to recommend 30 unique ice desserts in Kaohsiung. The public then voted online to select the top 10 most delicious ice treats in the city. The event also featured many kids dressed as Minions, whose overwhelming cuteness was super healing.

This event featured 30 unique ice desserts in Kaohsiung, carefully selected and recommended by bloggers Nili and Eat with All Your Heart. The list includes many time-honored shops and old-school ice stores that stay true to traditional flavors, as well as creative ice treats made with simple ingredients. From shaved ice, ice cream, and sundaes to classic Taiwanese-style powders and toppings, there’s a wide variety to choose from, catering to all kinds of taste preferences.
