The fourth branch of Yaeliu Ramen, founded by its creator Ryoichi Takamine, Yaeliu Tokyo Tonkotsu 【Gokujoh】, specializes in Tokyo-style tonkotsu ramen and has quietly begun a soft opening on the 17th. It is located in the alleyways of Section 3, Tingzhou Road, in Gongguan. The shop’s lantern features a large white design, which is rare in Taiwan. During the soft opening period, it operates daily starting at 18:00 until ingredients run out.
Although it has only just begun its soft opening, a queue had already formed by the evening of the 19th. According to a post on the blog “The Yaeliu Struggle Story!!”, around 60 people were queuing as early as 17:00 that day, and when a reporter visited on the 20th for photos, there were approximately 30 customers waiting outside when it opened at 18:00. Yaeliu Tokyo Tonkotsu 【Gokujoh】 specializes in Tokyo-style tonkotsu ramen, with prices for the ramen ranging between NT$250 and NT$300. The number of seats in the shop is similarly limited, similar to that of Ranmaru, accommodating about 9 people.
