This travel event kicks off during the summer vacation, with themed itineraries primarily focusing on ecotourism routes in “central and southern Pingtung.” It features four recommended one-day tour routes and five recommended two-day tour routes. The tours center around indigenous villages, allowing visitors to savor traditional indigenous cuisine while exploring unique cultural crafts, DIY activities, and hands-on experiences, thereby immersing themselves deeply in the traditional culture of these native areas.
The tour routes will cover a variety of fascinating content including tribal ecology, humanity, art, craftsmanship, cuisine, and local specialty industries. There are nine major themed itineraries in total: One-day tours include 《Seniors' Recommendation》 Nasal Flute & Kapok, 《Slow Life Recommendation》 D'Lai Old & New, 《Photography Recommendation》 Hundred-Pacer Stone Carvings, and 《Adventure Recommendation》 Sea God Temple Challenge; Two-day tours include 《Singles Recommendation》 Romantic Wedding Day, 《Foodie Recommendation》 Coffee Fields Trail, 《Nostalgia Recommendation》 Lost Ancient City, 《Hiking Recommendation》 Sea & Sky Horizon Walk, and 《Family Recommendation》 Firefly Eagle Season.
The tours will officially commence in August. In addition to the one-day and two-day themed routes, there will also be added services such as a limited “Taichung Departure” batch and “customized chartered tours” to provide more convenient travel options for residents in central and northern Taiwan. Moreover, this year marks the first time that special festivals are integrated with specific tour batches, allowing visitors to take part in indigenous tribal ceremonies and experience the depth of local aboriginal culture firsthand.
