Pikachu invades Yokohama!“The Pikachu Painted Train” makes its debut starting today

Yokohama will host the “1,000 Pikachu Flash Mob” event from August 8 to 16. Before enjoying the dance performance of 1,000 Pikachu plush toys, the Minatomirai Line has launched the “Pikachu Painted Train” starting today, along with the release of a Pikachu-themed one-day pass.

The “Pikachu Painted Train” will be available from today until August 21, not only on the Minatomirai Line but also on the interconnected Tokyu Toyoko Line, Tokyo Metro Fukutoshin Line, Seibu Yurakucho Line, Ikebukuro Line, Sayama Line, and Tobu Tojo Line.

In addition, a limited edition of 5,000 “Pikachu One-Day Passes” are now on sale at all Minatomirai Line stations. There are two designs for the one-day pass, and they are valid until January 16, 2016.
