Cathay Pacific officially launched its direct flight service between Hong Kong and Düsseldorf, Germany, on September 1. This route marks the airline’s second destination in Germany after Frankfurt and its newest European gateway. The Düsseldorf flights are operated by the 777-300ER aircraft, offering First Class, Business Class, Premium Economy, and Long-Haul Economy cabins.

Cathay Pacific stated that the inaugural flight CX379 departed from Hong Kong on September 1 and arrived in Düsseldorf at 7:12 on the same day. The outbound flight CX376 from Düsseldorf also held an inauguration celebration and water salute before departure, arriving in Hong Kong at 6:22 on September 2.
