A good travel companion makes the trip fun, while a bad one can make you miserable every day. The worst thing about traveling is encountering an extreme Hong Kong girl who loves to sleep in, throw tantrums, complain, and has a princess complex...

Fortunately, such extreme cases are rare. Traveling with a group of girls has many benefits that add joy to the journey. Have you found your travel Mrs. Right? (P.S.: This is assuming you're a girl.)

1) Marathon-style shopping together
Don’t underestimate girls’ shopping stamina—they can rival triathletes. After shopping, your feet will really hurt when you get back to the hotel.

2) They won’t stop you from shopping
Men always think women spend money recklessly on impractical, cute, and expensive things. But around female friends, they won’t stop you from shopping—in fact, they’ll encourage it, greatly reducing post-shopping guilt.

3) Give opinions on purchases, help compare prices, and bargain
For those who don’t know how to bargain or have decision fatigue, traveling with girlfriends is truly a blessing.

4) Take nice photos with you
Taking Instagram-worthy photos while traveling is common knowledge, right? No one’s afraid of delicious food when the camera comes first. Girls don’t mind if you take a few extra nice shots. (Just don’t take too long!)

5) Research selfie angles/techniques together
YEAH!! Selfies take practice, and hanging out with friends lets you pick up tips and techniques, and strike poses together.

Back at the hotel, during long bus rides, NEX, JR... The long hours of traveling naturally lead to sharing personal thoughts, which is actually my favorite part.

7) Stare openly at hot guys (without judgment)
YEAH!! No explanation needed :)

8) You can let go of all dignity
When traveling with guys, you naturally care about your image. But with girls, you can be super casual, not care about appearances, and even burp louder—haha :)

9) The trip aligns with girls’ tastes
No need to visit Gundam, Akihabara, maid cafes, AKB48...
