Friends in Taoyuan are in luck! Now you can enjoy authentic Hong Kong dim sum without flying to Hong Kong or making a special trip to Taipei!"Dim Sum Master," located on Section 2, Nanlu Road, Luzhu District, Taoyuan City, is already a well-known Hong Kong dim sum restaurant in Taipei;by refusing to use MSG, chicken powder, or artificial coloring, and opting for Himalayan rose salt, the goal is to let guests enjoy naturally delicious, made-to-order food!

To offer guests a more natural flavor, there are no excessive sauces or decorations—even some of the sauces are homemade and carefully paired, ensuring healthy, delicious, and satisfying meals!Next, let’s take a look at the delicious dishes at "Dim Sum Master"!

% The restaurant is located on Section 2, Nanlu Road, Luchu District, right under the Eslite Logistics Center, and its black sign with orange letters is quite easy to spot!

% The sign of the restaurant features bold black and orange colors with a distinctive design.

% The place wasn’t too crowded when we arrived, and in fact, it looked quite empty. We even ran into an acquaintance who had just finished eating and left the shop!

% The walls inside are painted a deep red, with wooden elements as accents, creating a warm and classic ambiance. The lantern-inspired decorations add to the strong Hong Kong dim sum vibe!

% Most guests seemed to go straight for the set meals, but there were also options to customize your own meal if you preferred. We’d recommend starting with a set meal and adding a few personal favorites.

% First, we asked the staff to serve us burdock tea (NT$120), which had a light burdock aroma and natural sweetness. It’s also suitable for refilling and very smooth to drink!

% As soon as you walk in, you’ll notice the tables are spread out nicely. Most of the seating is in individual booths, offering good privacy. The walls also feature steam basket-themed decor, which really enhances the Hong Kong dim sum atmosphere!Wine lovers can also enjoy a bottle of good wine here—the red and white wines are all carefully selected by the owner, and the quality is quite impressive!

% We started with a round of orders, but to our surprise, after the first round arrived, we couldn’t help but order a second one!

% The restrooms are located outside the main dining area, just ask the staff and they’ll show you.

% The shrimp dumplings (NT$120) are quite large, and their shape is quite unique!

% The shrimp inside the dumplings are super fresh and springy, while the wrapper is soft yet slightly chewy in the center. The filling is sweet and delicious—absolutely amazing!

% The har gow had a nice crispness on the outside and the shrimp inside was bouncy. The texture isn’t too greasy, and the shrimp used here has no excessive additives, so the natural sweetness really shines through!

% The pan-fried radish cake (NT$120) is pan-fried until slightly crispy and fragrant, served with a side of homemade dried fish dipping sauce—it looks super tasty!

% The radish cake is pan-fried to a perfect golden crisp on the outside, paired with a sweet hoisin-like sauce. The radish itself is finely shredded, and the flavor is rich without being cloying. The texture is crispy outside and soft inside, and it's delicious even on its own!

% The spicy chicken feet (NT$120) come with a dipping sauce that’s a bit on the spicy side, but the aroma is also rich and fragrant! It leaves a lingering taste that’s hard to forget!

% The beef meatball with tofu skin (NT$120) features a big beef ball topped with a small piece of tofu skin—it’s a rather unique-looking steamed dish!

% The beef meatball is firm and juicy, with a sweet beef flavor and a hint of dried tangerine peel aroma. The taste is quite special, and it’s even more delicious when dipped in the special sauce!

% The Chinese broccoli (NT$80) is usually served whole in most Hong Kong dim sum restaurants, but here it’s sliced, making it much easier to eat—a very thoughtful touch!

% The highlight is the Chinese broccoli, which is cooked to a perfect tenderness. Unlike the usual overly slippery texture, this version has a nice bite to it and is very enjoyable!

% The custard bun (NT$120) is round and plump, looking extremely tempting! It’s also one of the must-try signature dishes here!

% When you cut it open, the custard filling flows out like lava—our mouths were watering just from the sight!

% The custard buns are fluffy on the outside, with a crust that’s golden and crisp. The custard filling is smooth and sweet, without being overly greasy, making it hard to resist!

% The phoenix claws (chicken feet, NT$120) are pre-trimmed—they don’t have sharp nails, and no coloring is added, making them both delicious and reassuring to eat!

% The chicken feet are tender and fall-off-the-bone, with a rich flavor. After removing the bones, you can still enjoy the soft and flavorful gelatinous texture. They’re perfect for soaking up the savory sauce!

(Steamed Pork Ribs in Black Bean Sauce (120 TWD), this portion comes with as many as four pieces—the meat is firm, springy, and has a delicate salty-sweet flavor that’s deeply satisfying in every bite!

(Steamed Shrimp Dumplings (150 TWD), this portion also includes four pieces, each bite-sized!

(Pork Ball with Salted Egg Yolk (price not specified), do you enjoy the contrast between the savory salted egg yolk and the tender pork? The salted egg yolk here is rich and flavorful, and we really appreciate how they’ve balanced the natural taste of the ingredients—this is truly their specialty!

(Steamed Pork Ribs in Black Bean Sauce (120 TWD), these steamed ribs are also exceptional—the meat is tender, sweet, and soft enough that it separates easily from the bone with just a light bite. The mild salty-sweet flavor is delicious and smooth. The Homemade Sesame Paste (100 TWD) is rich and aromatic, not overly sweet, and absolutely delightful!

(Clay Pot Rice with Chicken and Chinese Sausage (150 TWD), their clay pot rice is served in an earthenware pot, served alongside a special sauce—it looks really impressive!

(Their Chinese sausage has a crispy exterior and firm interior, the casing isn’t tough to bite through, and it’s full of aroma. Paired with plain rice and cabbage, it’s really tasty!

(Sticky Rice in Lotus Leaf (price not specified), the sticky rice is wrapped in lotus leaves, giving it a lovely fragrance. The rice is very soft and fluffy, and the filling is rich and flavorful. The texture is well-balanced, and the taste is quite comforting.

(Steamed Shrimp Dumplings (180 TWD), served with chopped scallions on the side, which add even more fragrance and enhance the flavor!

(The shrimp used here are of excellent quality, and the shrimp dumplings are generously filled. Each bite gives you a wonderful combination of umami and shrimp flavor.

(The glutinous rice in lotus leaf is cooked to perfection—the lotus leaf wrapping infuses the rice with a subtle fragrance. The glutinous rice is soft and sticky, paired with tender chicken, creating a richly aromatic dish. The flavors are layered and comforting, making it hard to stop eating!

(Shrimp Dumplings (140 TWD), the size of the shrimp dumplings is also quite impressive—just four pieces fill up a whole steamer basket!

(The shrimp inside is firm, springy, and deliciously fresh. Every bite is hugely satisfying!

(Sesame Balls with Sweetened Red Bean Paste (100 TWD), there are three pieces in total. With one bite, you get the aroma of the sesame on the outside and the flowing sweetness of the red bean filling inside. The taste isn’t overly sweet, the fragrance is strong, and they’re especially delicious when hot. Also, the Satay Beef Tripe (120 TWD) is surprisingly tasty—the tripe is flavorful and well-seasoned, tender and soft, almost melting in your mouth with each bite. The taste and texture are both very appealing!

(Char Siu Buns (120 TWD), their char siu buns are a slightly different color from the usual ones because they don’t use any artificial coloring, and the taste is quite natural. They have a mild sweet-salty flavor, though not very sweet, leaning just a bit toward the salty side, but still quite enjoyable. Another option, the Taro Fried Spring Rolls (100 TWD), have a very crispy and tasty exterior, paired with taro shreds and minced pork filling that’s sweet and flavorful. It’s not too greasy, and the taste is pretty good!

(Rice Noodle Roll with BBQ Pork (120 TWD), somewhat similar to cheung fun, these rolls are very smooth and slippery. The BBQ pork filling is tender and flavorful, with a mild sweet-salty taste and a rich texture. The Wild Rice Pearl Chicken (140 TWD) is wrapped in lotus leaves, giving it a subtle leafy aroma. The wild rice is steamed until very soft, paired with tender chicken, resulting in a dish that’s aromatic and very filling. We were almost defeated after finishing this one!

(Plum Juice (80 TWD), Iced Lemon Tea (80 TWD)), the plum juice is mildly sweet and sour, with a rich flavor that’s very refreshing and helps cut through grease. The iced lemon tea contains yellow lemon slices—you can poke them while drinking to release more flavor. It’s mildly sweet and sour with a hint of lemon aroma, refreshing and delicious!

We recommend coming with a group because you’ll likely end up sharing dishes—if you eat alone, you might spend around 500 TWD to get full. We suggest going with three to four people for the best value!

The environment at “Hong Kong Dim Sum Master” is simple and comfortable, with a good selection of dishes. The menu clearly lists prices and portion sizes, making it very easy to understand. The dishes follow a traditional, natural, and high-quality approach—they avoid artificial coloring, chicken powder, and spices, using premium ingredients so customers can enjoy the natural flavors of the food!

For example, the Whole Shrimp Dumplings let you enjoy big, plump shrimp with a naturally springy and sweet taste. The Steamed Pork Ribs in Black Bean Sauce use enzyme-raised pork, resulting in tender, smooth meat that’s also healthier. The Flowing Sand Milk Custard Buns are also exceptional, made with a meticulous process using fresh egg yolks, and taste wonderfully sweet. All the dishes here are homemade, including the sauces.

The use of real, high-quality ingredients makes it healthy and satisfying. We highly recommend it—if you have the chance, come try “Hong Kong Dim Sum Master.” You might just find yourself wanting more, savoring the lingering flavors!
