The annual Taroko Gorge Music Festival will take place on October 17 and 18 at the Taroko Plateau, with this year’s performances headlined by “U-Theatre.”

After a 10-year hiatus, U-Theatre returns to the Taroko stage. In addition to showcasing their classic works, they will also open up an interactive drumming experience for the public on the afternoon of the 17th, where performers will personally teach the spirit of U-Theatre drumming.

Yang Mo-lin, director of Taroko National Park Administration, stated that the Taroko Gorge Music Festival creates an opportunity for nature, music, and people to come together — bringing music back to nature, allowing people to hear the sounds of heaven in nature, and seeing nature through music. It is hoped that the festival will guide more visitors to explore Taroko National Park.
