Built withexposed concretearchitecture, the “New Inn Hotel – Fuxing North Road Branch” officially opened at 2:00 PM on the 8th. In addition to Taipei Inn Group Chairman Dai Zhangji and his wife, as well as Fuxing North Road Branch exhibition curator Chen Junliang, who all attended and gave speeches, the event also invited various artists, jazz musicians, beautiful violinists, and contemporary dancers to deliver a unique performance, announcing the official opening of the Fuxing North Road Branch.

Chairman Dai Zhangji said in his speech that the New Inn Hotel – Fuxing North Road Branch is the 11th branch under the Taipei Inn Group. The entire building was masterfully designed by exhibition curator Chen Junliang, featuring an exposed concrete design throughout. It took three years, countless meetings, disagreements, and eventual consensus to finally bring this Renaissance-style building to life.“It’s not just an affordable design hotel, but also one of the most beautiful buildings in Taipei.”

Exhibition curator Chen Junliang further stated that the building hasfive themed floors, with a total of120 rooms, each featuring different text designs. Each room contains words he left behind, and the entire building showcases his incorporation of Eastern aesthetics, such as Su Shi’s “Calming Wind Slope” and “Pistil Yellow” aesthetics, blending roughness with delicacy to create a uniquely cultural and creative taste. He also couldn’t help but mention during his speech,“You can see pistil yellow everywhere here, even the shoes I’m wearing today are yellow.”To create a distinctive design unlike any before, Chen Junliang said he stayed in each room individually before deciding to build this culturally rich design hotel entirely with exposed concrete.
