The service-oriented hotpot restaurant Hai Di Lao’s Taiwan No. 1 Store to begin trial operation on September 14

The mainland’s service-oriented hotpot restaurant “Hai Di Lao” is finally set to open. Its Taiwan No. 1 Store is expected to begin trial operation on September 14 at ATT 4 FUN on the 6th floor. Business hours will be from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM and from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. In addition to its affordable prices and delicious broth, Hai Di Lao is best known on the mainland for its various above-and-beyond services—such as free manicure services and games like playing cards and chess for waiting customers, complimentary hot towels after using the restroom, and even childcare services.

According to official information, Hai Di Lao Catering was established in 1994, primarily serving Sichuan-style hotpot while also incorporating features from hotpot styles around the country. It currently operates 109 directly managed stores across the mainland, along with two branches in Singapore, and one each in Los Angeles, USA and Seoul, South Korea. Its first Taiwan branch is located at ATT 4 FUN (6th floor) in Taipei’s Xinyi District.
