Zhuque Pear Garden Scenic Area

　　The Shaanxi Zhuque Pear Garden Scenic Area is one of the “Four Gardens,” a key tourism destination in Hanzhong City. Established in 2008, it lies adjacent to Yangxian County, neighboring the Beijing-Kunming Expressway and National Highway 108, with the Xi’an–Chengdu High-Speed Railway soaring dramatically overhead. Its location is exceptionally advantageous.

　　The scenic area spans a planned area of 187 hectares. Built around the Zhuque Ecological Park and a vast pear orchard of ten thousand mu, it follows the concept of “immersing in nature, getting close to landscapes, experiencing culture, and enjoying life.” It consists of five themed zones: the Modern Horticultural Landscape Zone, the Cultural Landscape Integration Zone, the Zhuque Ecological Science Education Zone, the Mountain Forest Wellness and Fitness Zone, and the Pear Garden Rural Charm Zone. The terrain features rolling hills and surrounding waters. From the mountaintop, you can overlook the ancient charm and modern style of the county town, as well as the fields and villages along both sides of the Han River. Attractions such as the aerial cableway, cascading waterfalls, musical fountains, water screen movies, cultural reliefs, famous ancient trees, and pavilions blend natural landscapes with man-made sights, fully showcasing the distinctive features of Yangzhou. It is the most charming urban landscape park in the eastern part of the Hanzhong Basin.

　　Located in the subtropical monsoon zone, the scenic area boasts picturesque scenery that varies with the seasons. In spring, visitors can enjoy strolling through blooming gardens, where golden oxen seem to paw the earth, pear blossoms begin to bloom, slender bamboo stands upright, and palm trees welcome guests. In summer, walking up the steps brings refreshing breezes, shimmering lake views, shady green trees, and serene winding paths. In autumn, climbing high offers views of flying cranes, a garden full of pears and fruits, auspicious ginkgo trees, and the fragrant scent of osmanthus. In winter, a walk along the garden paths reveals a world draped in silvery white, with water receding to expose stones, towering ancient trees, and pavilions exuding good fortune. During the day, visitors can enjoy boating on the water, strolling under the shade of trees, fishing by the lake, picking fruit in the mountains, sipping wine in the breeze—offering endless delight. By night, the illuminated scenic area shines brilliantly like a sky full of stars, with cascading water screens glowing in color, creating a dreamlike scene as if stepping into a heavenly palace.
