A few years ago, there was a farm near St. Helen's Town that raised cattle and grew onions. We’re all familiar with onions—their greatest charm being their ability to make people cry—but the smell of rotten onions is truly awful. Rotten onions can “perfume” the air for miles, and when combined with equally pungent cow manure, the odor became unbearable for local residents. Under strong public opposition, the farm eventually stopped growing onions.
In the onion-free days that followed, the lives of the town’s residents returned to their previous tranquility and comfort. The town’s classical beauty and rustic charm are its most treasured assets, making it an ideal place to experience rural life. The town’s church has become a popular attraction, boasting a long history and serving as a must-visit site when exploring St. Helen's Town.
